Block Visibility 3.5.0: WordPress 6.6 compatibility

|

|

Block Visibility 3.5.0 was a minor release aimed at ensuring full compatibility with WordPress 6.6. It included a few minor bug fixes and raised the minimum supported WordPress version to 6.4.

With WordPress 6.6, the Extensibility APIs were unified making it easier to add content to both the Post Editor and the Site Editor simultaneously. Consequently, the Visibility Presets options button is now available in the Site Editor. All deprecation warnings have also been resolved.

Next steps

The ongoing development of Block Visibility will focus on enhancing current functionality and adding new features to existing controls. No new integrations are planned. The goal is to make each existing control as feature-rich as possible while ensuring the plugin feels like a native Core add-on.

If you find a bug or have a feature request, please submit a support ticket or create an issue on the Block Visibility GitHub repo. Pull requests are always welcome. If a feature you want is taking too long to build, I encourage you to become a contributor!

Thanks for your interest in Block Visibility. Until next time. 👋
